So cold glass is stained glass, flat glass, leaded glass and mosaics. One kind of hot glass is fused glass. Why is fused glass hot? Because we “bake” or fire it in a kiln.
Which technique is your favorite? More than one?
Do you use both techniques?
What kinds of small and large projects use well both fused and stained glass?
We work with both techniques here. Sometimes we want small details, like lots of feathers on a bird, or scales on a fish, or berries on a bush, and fusing the glass means that we can save a whole lot of cut lines. Integrating techniques can be stunning.
So what are you guys doing with cold and hot glass?
